NYRR Brooklyn R-U-N 5k
The Brooklyn R-U-N 5k is a road race in Prospect Park aimed at the after work crowd, particularly those who live in Brooklyn. I designed all aspects of the event starting with the logo. Design was applied to signage, clothing, race bibs, and an out of home campaign that ran in Brooklyn. For the out of home campaign, I worked with Outfront.

Below are some previous rounds of logos during the design process. The look I was going for was something youthful and more hip than maybe a typical road race. The demographic for this event also skews younger and doesn’t have any small children so the hope was that the logo would also look good on some cool collateral. The past couple of years I’ve worked with New Balance to design a hat that all participants receive.
